Christa McNerney, Associate Director, is a Diplomate
of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors. She
holds a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston
College and a Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from the
School of Theology at Claremont. She brings both
counseling and pastoral experience to her present work.
Developing trust in oneself is key to both the therapy
and spiritual direction Christa offers.
 
Meet Our Counselors
Sheryll Prinz-McMillan, Executive Director, is a
Licensed Marriage, Family Therapist as well as a
certified Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral
Counselors. She holds a Masters degree in Divinity and
a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Sheryll is an ordained minister and a Philosophy of
Religion and Theology, Ph.D. student at the Claremont
Graduate University.
Abigail Atkins is a Licensed Educational and Clinical
Psychologist, having received her Doctorate from the
University of San Francisco. She is a fellow of the
American Association of Pastoral Counselors and has
20 years of experience working with children and adults
in various settings doing evaluations as well as therapy.
Abigail is an ordained minister with a Masters in Divinity
from Claremont School of Theology. Her areas of
interest include working with children, families and
adults. She brings both counseling and pastoral
experience to her work.
Sue Konkel-White, Clinical Director, is a Licensed
Marriage and Family Therapist and a Parent-Child
Interaction Therapy Certified Trainer with a Masters of
Divinity Degree from Talbot Seminary and a Doctorate in
Pastoral Counseling from Fuller Seminary. Sue served
as an Associate Pastor for almost 10 years and has
been counseling in a parish setting for over 20 years.
She works with individuals, couples and families. She
has extensive experience working with process
addictions of all kinds, in intimacy and communication
difficulties within couples and families, and in play
therapy with children including Wait, Watch and Wonder
and PCIT.
Diane Eller-Boyko is a Registered Nurse and Licensed
Clinical Social Worker. As a Clinical Private Practitioner,
Diane's specialties include Spiritual Enrichment, Gender
Identity Confusion, Depression and Anxiety, and
Women's Issues centering on Mid-Life Crisis. Diane
utilizes psychology and spirituality to help individuals find
meaning and integrate mind, body and soul.
Ray Hommes is a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist having received his Masters Degree from
Fuller Theological Seminary, School of Psychology. Ray
is an ordained minister with a Master of Theology
Degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling. His experience
includes cross-cultural counseling, hospice, and
marriage counseling. Ray is also a Qualified Grief
Counselor. He treats depression, anxiety, self-esteem
issues, and anger management. He is interested in the
integration of spiritual and mental health.
Sharon Mellor is an Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  
She received her Masters of Social Work from California
State University, San Bernardino and is a Parent Child
Interaction Therapist trainer.  Areas of expertise include
parent and child relationships, adolescence, couple
therapy, as well as adult children and aging parent
issues. Her training and experience offer strength
centered approach to  mental health, focusing on
integrating community resources, spirituality and family
relationships including Wait, Watch and Wonder.
John Bowers is a Marriage and Family Therapist
Intern and a local pastor who received his Masters
Degree in Counseling/Psychology from California
Baptist University. John has worked as a teacher, dean
of students and high school counselor. His interests and
experience include working with individuals, families and
couples.
Jana Boyd is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
who received her Ph.D in Marital and Family Therapy as
well as a Masters in Theology from Fuller Theological
Seminary. She specializes in dealing with relationship
issues from both a psychological and a spiritual
perspective. Areas of interest include combined families,
elder care issues, anxiety and depression in later life,
and coping with chronic medical conditions.
Audra Sengstock is a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist and a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy
Certified Trainer who received her Masters Degree in
Clinical/Counseling Psychology from California State
University, San Bernardino. Audra offers a rich
experience in her work with children and adolescents.
Her interest and experience include counseling
individuals, couples, and families focusing on building on
each individual's strengths and spiritual health as a
means of healing.
Russ Decker is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
and a Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Certified Trainer
earning his DMFT Degree from Loma Linda University.
Russ received a certificate in clinical mediation from LLU
and interned at the Riverside County Superior Court. He
brings more than 15 years of experience working with
adolescents and families in crisis. Russ strives to help,
heal, and provide hope to families in crisis.
Vickie Marshall is a Marriage and Family Therapist
Intern and a Parent-Child Interaction Therapist trainee
who received her masters degree in Counseling
Psychology from California Baptist University. Vickie
brings more than 10 years of experience using drama
and expressive dance as a form of therapy with children
and adolescents. Her area of interest includes working
with children, adolescents and families in crisis and,
using her real life experience to help women in crisis
situations.
MARTHA THORSON  is a pastoral counselor who
earned a M.Div. from Duke University and a D.Min in
Spirituality from Columbia Theological Seminary.  Martha
has served as an ordained pastor for 20 years and is a
California certified sexual assault advocate.  Her
expertise is in the area of domestic violence, sexual
assault and abuse.  She is interested in batterer
intervention, prevention and survivor recovery.
SARAH DELGADO is a Marriage Family Therapist Intern
and Parent-Child Interaction Therapist Trainee who
earned her Master’s Degree at Azusa Pacific University.  
She is currently earning her Doctorate in Marriage and
Family Therapy at Loma Linda University.  Sarah brings
over 8 years of skilled experience working with
adolescents, children, and their families.  She is
specifically interested in the areas of:  leadership
development, and the integration of movement/dance as
a means of facilitating self-expression for children and
adolescents.
JAMIE WETHERBY is a Marriage and Family Therapist
Intern and a Parent Child Interaction Therapist Trainee
who received her Masters degree in Marriage and
Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary,
School of Psychology. Her areas of interest include
families in transition, sexual abuse, developmental
disabilities and cross-cultural counseling.
